PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Boucher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luciano Bizarria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bizarria has chosen Arnaldo Antunes - Alta Noite as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Luciano Bizarria!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Boucher misses with a looping right.
And Bizarria tries to counter it with a takedown but Boucher pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Boucher throws a poor cross that misses

and Bizarria counters with a shoot takedown. Boucher fights it but they end up in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bizarria changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bizarria ducks under a wild hook from Boucher.

Boucher is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
