Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Youngblood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thor Youngblood will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kahn pushes Youngblood up against the cage in a clinch.
Kahn stalling.
Youngblood is leaning against Kahn and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Kahn tries to pull guard but Youngblood won't allow it.

Kahn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Youngblood misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kahn.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kahn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kahn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kahn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Youngblood misses with some punches.
Kahn tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kahn fails to pull guard.

Youngblood makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Kahn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kahn feinted with a counter takedown.
Kahn shoots in for a takedown but Youngblood shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Youngblood walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kahn closes the distance and clinches up with Youngblood, looking for a takedown. Kahn pushes Youngblood against the cage but Youngblood circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Thor Youngblood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Youngblood throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Kahn is rocked!
Kahn shoots for a double leg takedown but Youngblood sprawls well. He's pushed Kahn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oh Kahn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Youngblood creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kahn tries to pull guard but Youngblood holds him up against the cage and eventually Kahn drops back down to his feet.
Youngblood tries to land knees in the clinch but Kahn avoids the damage to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kahn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Youngblood is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kahn is breathing heavily.
Kahn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kahn is working for takedown but Youngblood is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kahn slows down the pace here.
Youngblood lands with a short shot to the head.
Youngblood is working Kahn over against the cage.
Youngblood pushes Kahn against the cage. Youngblood is working some dirty boxing. Youngblood pushes off with a quick right hook! Kahn goes down! Kahn tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Youngblood moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
