Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kane to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kane scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jones controlling the position.
Kane postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kane.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kane with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Kane throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kane stands and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kane scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jones to see if he's OK.
