Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Swish Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Maxine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Maxine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hogan is looking to counter punch.
Maxine has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hogan is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Maxine throws a chopping leg kick but Hogan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Maxine misses with a looping left.
Hogan is looking for a counter combo.
Hogan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Maxine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hogan throws a nice looking combination but Maxine bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hogan avoids the head kick by Maxine.
Hogan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Maxine wants to land a leg kick but Hogan is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hogan rushes Maxine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Maxine creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
A right hook to the body lands for Hogan.
With the fighters up against the cage, Maxine throws an elbow but misses.
Hogan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Maxine blocks an uppercut.
Hogan misses with a punch on the inside.
Hogan is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Hogan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maxine misses with a low kick as Hogan jumps back.
A low kick from Maxine is predictable there
and Hogan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hogan digs a good body shot into Maxine's ribs.
Maxine fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hogan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A quick step to the side and Hogan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
A clash of legs there as Hogan blocks the low kick.
It looked like Hogan was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Maxine.
Maxine connects with a solid leg kick.
Maxine throws a head kick that misses.
Hogan is looking to counter punch.
Maxine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hogan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hogan's corner calls for a 1-2. Hogan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Maxine is rocked!
Hogan cracks Maxine's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Maxine slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Hogan can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Swish Hogan!
Swish Hogan bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
