Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Rostov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood tries to clinch up but Rostov circles away and keeps his distance.
Rostov blocks a jab.
Rostov lunges at Wood with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wood's hand.
Wood misses the shot to the body.
Rostov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wood tries a head kick but it misses.
Wood takes one to the side of the head.
Rostov fails to land with a series of punches.
Wood misses with a looping left.

Wood throws a hook but Rostov blocks it.

so Rostov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wood has his feet on Rostov's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rostov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wood swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wood throws a looping overhand right but Rostov ducks down to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Wood throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Wood's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rostov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wood scrambles back to his feet.
Rostov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wood.

Wood pushes Rostov up against the cage in a clinch.
Rostov manages to pull guard.
Wood preventing the sweep.
Rostov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wood is posturing up here but Rostov has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Wood tries to roll out but it's too tight and Wood has to tap! Slick submission there by Rostov!
