PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nythil Raven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chief Crazy Horse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crazy Horse has chosen Cherokee War Dance as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crazy Horse works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Nythil Raven has been cut.
Crazy Horse tries to clinch up.

Crazy Horse clinches up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Crazy Horse fails to land.
Crazy Horse lands a right hand.
Crazy Horse throws a head punch that misses.
A nice left hand lands by Crazy Horse.
Raven wants a takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Crazy Horse has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Crazy Horse tries a body shot but Raven blocks it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crazy Horse creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Raven lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Raven seems to be working for a kimura but Crazy Horse defends the submission attempt.
Raven stops Crazy Horse from getting back to his feet.

Raven is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Raven is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Crazy Horse is just riding it out for now. Raven eventually gives up the hold.

Raven is looking for submissions but instead, Crazy Horse has regained full guard.

Crazy Horse looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Crazy Horse wants to get back to his feet but Raven is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Raven drops back looking for a leg! Crazy Horse is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Crazy Horse manages to kick Raven off! Raven jumps back into Crazy Horse's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Raven has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Crazy Horse to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Raven is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Crazy Horse pulls down on the head and he's put Raven to sleep! This one is all over!
