PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dylan Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow tries to clinch there but Tyson circles away.
Tyson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Tyson lands a body shot.
Snow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tyson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snow circles away quickly and effectively.
Tyson throws a series of punches but Snow moves out of range.

Snow closes the distance and clinches.
Tyson working aggressively here.
Tyson is trying to push Snow away but Snow has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Tyson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Snow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snow moves into the clinch.
Tyson tries to break the clinch but Snow is controlling the position.
Snow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A right handed body shot lands from Tyson.
Snow keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tyson's efforts to push away.

Tyson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tyson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tyson misses with a hook from the clinch.
Snow blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Our sources have told us that Snow has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Tyson gets through Snow's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.


It looks like Dylan Snow has been cut.
Tyson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Snow fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Snow can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Snow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyson lands a hook to the side of the head.

Tyson has had enough of the clinch but Snow keeps him there for the moment.
Tyson is trying to force a seperation but Snow has the dominant position.
Snow has Tyson pressed against the cage, preventing Tyson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A frustrated look appears on Tyson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Snow pulls guard.
Tyson trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Snow pulls Tyson in close to his closed guard and prevents Tyson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Snow will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Snow wants to get back to his feet but Tyson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Snow scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Snow drives through and clinches with Tyson against the cage.
Snow keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tyson's efforts to push away.
Snow tries to pull guard but Tyson won't allow it.

Snow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tyson uses from the top position.
Tyson is looking to stand up but Snow won't let him.
Snow trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Tyson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Snow has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tyson is looking to defend but Snow has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tyson! Snow pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tyson taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dylan Snow!
After winning the bout, Dylan Snow thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
