Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Cotton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cotton clinches.

Tyson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cotton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tyson pulls his head out easily.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Tyson is trying to control the action in half guard but Cotton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Tyson tries to keep at a distance but Cotton has taken the fight into the clinch.

Tyson has picked Cotton up - he's going for a ride! Tyson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Tyson is looking to take a break and control but Cotton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tyson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Cotton to stand up.

Tyson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
