The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bateman is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
I've been told that Bateman has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Coleman is looking for a sweep. Bateman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Black Coleman will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Coleman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bateman looks to land a left hand but Coleman moved out of range nicely.
Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown but Bateman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coleman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

It looks like Black Coleman has been cut.
Paddy Bateman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bateman jabs Coleman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bateman throws a right and a left that Coleman avoids nicely.
No joy there for Coleman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bateman now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Bateman scores with a jab to the body.
Coleman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bateman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bateman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bateman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bateman is on top in guard.

Bateman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bateman is sitting in close to Coleman's body. Coleman has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bateman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bateman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Coleman.

Black Coleman really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GREEN!160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
