Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Graig Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khom Maruban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khom Maruban has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Graig Prince's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maruban closes the distance and clinches.

Maruban breaks from the clinch.
Prince on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Prince fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maruban manages to avoid it.
Maruban unleashes a big counter combination but Prince bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Maruban gets tackled into the cage by Prince. Prince maintains the clinch.

Maruban lands a takedown into guard.

Prince kicks Maruban off and gets to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prince darts in looking for a takedown but Maruban gets double underhooks and turns Prince into the cage.
Maruban doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Maruban dives in for a single leg takedown but Prince sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Prince gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Prince tries to stall but Maruban uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Maruban fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Maruban manages to break the clinch.
Maruban fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Prince changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Graig Prince has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khom Maruban.

Maruban rushes Prince and presses him up against the cage.

Maruban breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Maruban shoots in but no luck this time.

so Prince counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Maruban is trying to keep Prince in close.
Prince trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Prince has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Maruban avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Prince won't allow Maruban to sweep him here.

Prince lands a couple of elbows.
Maruban is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Maruban is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Prince is controlling him.

Prince is looking to work some ground and pound but Maruban has wrist control.

Maruban utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Prince postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Maruban lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Prince wants to stand but Maruban is controlling the position.
Maruban looking to sit in guard and control but Prince gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Prince postures up.
Prince scoring with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prince postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Graig Prince dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Maruban steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Prince.
Prince fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Prince misses the jab.
Prince throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Maruban goes for a double leg but Prince avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Prince continues to drive forward.
Maruban sizes up Prince with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maruban shoots in looking for a takedown. Prince tries to sprawl out of it but Maruban keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prince manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Maruban is breathing heavily.

Maruban forces Prince back against the cage and clinches.
Maruban managing to block the knees to the body from Prince.

Maruban has picked Prince up - he's going for a ride! Maruban dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Prince tries to kick Maruban off in order to stand up. Maruban Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Maruban taking a break here but Prince is having none of it and regains half guard.
Prince moves into full guard.

Prince wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Maruban preventing the sweep.
Maruban postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prince utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Prince wants to sweep here but Maruban controlling him for the moment.

Maruban drops back, looking for a kneebar! Prince looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Prince looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Prince!

Prince tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Prince has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Graig Prince overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The ground and pound from Prince seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Maruban tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Prince wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Prince is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Maruban can do to turn this around?

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
A control attempt from Maruban but he's now mounted!

Maruban tries to improve his position but Prince has taken his back! Prince has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Maruban tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Prince pushes Maruban away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Graig Prince!
