Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Taft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong comes to the cage accompanied by Slayer - Live Undead. King Kong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taft tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kong swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kong thows a leg kick but Taft checks it

and Taft counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kong is trying to drag Taft to the mat but Taft just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kong goes for a takedown in the clinch but Taft prevents it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Kong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kong is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Taft to keep the fight standing.

Kong wants to take the fight to the mat but Taft manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kong is breathing heavily.
Kong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kong tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Taft smiles and moves away.
Taft thows a body kick. Kong tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Taft gets a clinch.
Taft stops a takedown attempt from Kong.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Taft takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Taft lands an elbow that stopped Kong in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like King Kong has been cut.
Taft lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Taft manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Kong wants to control from the top but Taft keeps moving.

Kong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taft swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kong won't allow Taft to get back to his feet.

Taft is trying to control the position but Kong postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Taft ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

A slapping leg kick lands for Taft.

Taft instigates a clinch.
Taft unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kong lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Taft lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Taft breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Taft lands with a straight right. Kong didn't see that one coming.

Taft lunges at Kong with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kong's hand.

Kong tries to keep at a distance but Taft has taken the fight into the clinch.

Taft works on Kong's body with a couple of short punches.

Taft lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kong backwards.
Taft lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kong backwards.

Taft manages to break the clinch.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Taft.
Taft landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Taft gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Taft wants to control from the top but Kong keeps moving.

Kong is looking for a triangle but Taft pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on King Kong's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A chopping leg kick lands by Taft.
Taft has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Taft tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Taft throws a head kick that half lands.
King Kong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Taft throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kong's head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Taft.
Taft thuds his shin into the meat of Kong's side.
Taft looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Taft backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Kong's temple! It sends Kong violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Taft celebrates and the doctors try to help Kong!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Larry Taft!
Larry Taft opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
In defeat, King Kong stepped up to the mic, saying 'My opponent is a great fighter.'.
