The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

JR closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vazquez's guard.

JR got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vazquez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, JR has managed to get both his arms back between Vazquez's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Vazquez manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
JR wants to break the clinch but can't.

JR swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vazquez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
JR throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Vazquez crashing down! Vazquez tries to stagger back to his feet but JR just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Vazquez asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
