Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hideaki Fukuzawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaine Barr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fukuzawa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nujabes - Shiki No Uta [feat. MINMI] . This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barr drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fukuzawa is trying to keep Barr in close.
Barr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Barr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fukuzawa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barr controls the pace.

Barr lands a couple of elbows.
Barr is working Fukuzawa over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Barr controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Fukuzawa throws a leg kick but Barr sees it coming and checks it nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Barr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fukuzawa to the mat! Fukuzawa manages to get full guard.
Barr is standing up over Fukuzawa. Fukuzawa looks to escape but Barr dives into side control.

Barr has control of an arm but Fukuzawa manages to advance to Barr's back!

Fukuzawa is stalling here. Barr is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Fukuzawa seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Barr has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Barr in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Barr cracks Fukuzawa with a big right hand but Fukuzawa just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Barr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fukuzawa is trying to escape the position but Barr is controlling the position.
Barr's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Barr has hold of Fukuzawa's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fukuzawa tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Barr cranks the arm and Fukuzawa screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fukuzawa, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
