The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelmendi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fertus throws a hook to the side of Kelmendi's head but Kelmendi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kelmendi misses with a left hand
enabling Fertus to counter with a crisp jab.
Klajdi Kelmendi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fertus scoring well with a low kick there.
Nice jab there from Fertus.
Fertus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kelmendi.
Fertus wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Fertus takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A big left from Kelmendi misses.
Kelmendi lands with a hook. Fertus tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kelmendi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fertus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kelmendi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kelmendi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Some wild striking there from Fertus.

Kelmendi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kelmendi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fertus instigates a clinch.
Fertus blocking some punches.
Kelmendi is trying to force a seperation but Fertus has the dominant position.
Kelmendi lands a left hand that snaps the head of Fertus backwards.
Fertus keeps control of Kelmendi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fertus breaks from the clinch.
Kelmendi lands a big right hand that sends Fertus crashing to the mat! Kelmendi stays standing though and waves Fertus back to his feet!
Fertus is rocked!

Kelmendi throws a body shot but no joy.
Fertus is looking to counter punch.
