Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Darmody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyman Kissell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darmody takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Darmody misses the shot to the body.
Kissell scores with a hook to the body. Darmody takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kissell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kissell misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Darmody pushes Kissell away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kissell gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Darmody really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Darmody knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kissell on the ground.
Kissell wants to finish this one by submission but Darmody is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kissell.
Kissell tries to control but Darmody wriggling away.
Kissell misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Darmody has given up his back here. Will Kissell look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Kissell is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Darmody knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Darmody for a finish.
Darmody rolls, trying to escape but Kissell keeps control of the position.

Lyman Kissell decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
James Darmody spoke after the fight, saying 'I blame God for this loss. He wasn't with me tonight, he usually is, but he must be mad at me or something, I dunno'.
