Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bushido Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikki Dub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bushido Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikki Dub!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dub connects with an inside leg kick.
Dub throws a head kick that misses

and Brown counters with a takedown into side control.

Brown tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brown has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Brown working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dub for as long as he can get away with.

Brown wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dub, who protects the arm well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dub can do anything to dispel that myth.
