Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BaklaN Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, BaklaN Ko!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ko shoots in and drives through. Stone sprawls well.
Stone throws a head kick that Ko semi-blocks.
Stone throws a push kick but Ko slaps the foot to one side.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ko moves away.
Ko goes for a double leg but Stone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stone continues to drive forward.
Stone is looking to counter with a body kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A slapping leg kick lands for Stone.

Ko darts in and clinches Stone up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ko shoots in looking for a takedown but Stone manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ko lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Stone wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Ko shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Ko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It looked like Stone wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stone's waist but Stone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ko off to one side.
As Ko backs away, Stone returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Robert Stone will probably get the nod.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ko shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Ko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And Stone counters with a quick kick to the body but Ko blocks it.

Ko swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Stone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stone fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ko.
Stone leaves Ko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

I would just about give that final round to BaklaN Ko.
