Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Solomon Hoffman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Manos Anagnostopoulos!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Anagnostopoulos throws a head kick but Hoffman moves out of range.
Hoffman looks to land a body kick but Anagnostopoulos moved away.
Hoffman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hoffman.
Hoffman moves out of range of the body kick from Anagnostopoulos.

Anagnostopoulos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hoffman did well to prevent Anagnostopoulos getting side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoffman wants to control but Anagnostopoulos is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hoffman misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Hoffman makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoffman pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Anagnostopoulos back to the cage. Hoffman follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Hoffman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Anagnostopoulos is trying to defend but Hoffman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Hoffman throws a strike but Anagnostopoulos manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Hoffman tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!
