These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pinaglabanan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Knight tries to counter by closing the distance.
Pinaglabanan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pinaglabanan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Knight tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pinaglabanan ducks under a wild hook from Knight.

Pinaglabanan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Knight's waist but Knight gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pinaglabanan off to one side.
We've been told by Pinaglabanan's head coaches at Vendetta Alliance London Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pinaglabanan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knight but Knight pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pinaglabanan closes the distance and clinches up with Knight, looking for a takedown. Pinaglabanan pushes Knight against the cage but Knight circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Knight escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pinaglabanan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Shovel Knight is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Pinaglabanan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Knight walks away with a smile on his face. Pinaglabanan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Knight buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pinaglabanan attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Knight jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Knight misses with an uppercut. Pinaglabanan saw that one coming.
Shovel Knight seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Pinaglabanan fails with the takedown.
Knight lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Knight lands with a cross.
Pinaglabanan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Knight circles away.
Knight throws a head kick but Pinaglabanan moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knight pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pinaglabanan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Knight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Knight cracks Pinaglabanan with a right hand to the side of the head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pinaglabanan.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Knight fakes the leg kick and cracks Pinaglabanan in the body.
Pinaglabanan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pinaglabanan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pinaglabanan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Knight counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Shovel Knight comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Knight winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
