Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavior Reo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Xavior Reo!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reo dives in for a single leg takedown but Mitchell sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Mitchell half committed to a counter leg kick.
Reo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mitchell tries to avoid it but Reo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mitchell to the ground. Mitchell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Reo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
James Mitchell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavior Reo.
Reo fails with the takedown
and Mitchell counters with a two punch combo.

Mitchell gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Reo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mitchell walks away with a smile on his face. Reo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
