Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rory Tironne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tironne throws a head kick that misses.

and Harris holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Tironne is fighting off a takedown attempt but Harris is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tironne to the mat. Tironne regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Tironne defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Harris.
Harris has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Tironne gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Harris.
Paul Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harris moves into the clinch successfully.
Harris is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tironne can't fight it off and eventually Harris manages to take the fight to the floor. Tironne looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Harris stands up over Tironne, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tironne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground.
Harris passes Tironne's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Harris has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Tironne wants to hold on but Harris pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
