Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tsar Bomba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Head Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tsar Bomba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 2, fighting out of London, Head Coach!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomba on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Coach. Coach obviously looking to wear him down.
Good standup being displayed there by Bomba as he connects with a hook.
Coach fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bomba. Coach does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bomba throws an overhand right that lands on Coach's shoulder, as Coach tries to avoid the shot.
Bomba throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bomba ducks under a wild hook from Coach.
Coach shoots for a takedown but Bomba saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
It looked like Bomba wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Coach throws a combination that misses
and Bomba connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bomba throws a head kick that Coach semi-blocks.
Bomba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Coach cracks Bomba with a good jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bomba takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bomba throws a jab but it's blocked by Coach.

Bomba tests Coach's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Coach scoring well with a low kick there.
Coach walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Coach throws the left hand but Bomba avoids the punch easily.
Coach moves out of range as Bomba strikes.
Bomba slips a jab from Coach.
Coach tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bomba defends well and Coach ends up having to push Bomba into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bomba scores with a head kick.
Bomba throws a body shot but no joy.
A bone on bone clash there as Coach blocks the leg kick.
Coach tries to clinch but Bomba moves out of range.

Coach shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bomba is trying to defend but Coach finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Coach tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Coach drops an elbow to the side of Bomba's head.
Coach wants to control but Bomba is keeping him busy.

Coach is trying to work for a kimura but Bomba is defending well.
Bomba is looking to escape.
Coach thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bomba's head.
Bomba pushes Coach off looking to stand but Coach dives back in and keeps control.
Coach is thwarting Bomba's attempts to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bomba is staying active underneath Coach, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Coach might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bomba haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Bomba is looking for a sweep. Coach is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bomba manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Coach controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bomba keeping moving, preventing Coach from controlling successfully.
Coach stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bomba swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Coach lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bomba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Coach lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Tsar Bomba is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Coach is looking to land body kicks.
Bomba scores with a nice head shot.

Coach swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Coach throws an overhand right that lands on Bomba's shoulder, as Bomba tries to avoid the shot.

As Coach backs away, Bomba returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Coach tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Coach uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bomba.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tsar Bomba will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bomba throws a leg kick which misses Coach's front leg but catches the back leg as Coach tries to avoid it.
Coach takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Coach lands a nice looking body shot.
Bomba lands a jab to the nose.
A low kick from Bomba is predictable there
and Bomba takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Coach thumps Bomba with a low kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bomba. That's going to slow Coach down.
Coach swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bomba.

Coach lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Head Coach comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Coach has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
