Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Emil Marinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyal Ma Aung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marinov comes to the ring accompanied by Ruelle - Live Like Legends. Ma Aung has chosen Dj Klang as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marinov looks to score with a jab to the body but Ma Aung is just out of range.
Marinov defending well as Ma Aung loads up on a big left hand.
Marinov throws a body shot but no joy.
Ma Aung looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A low kick from Marinov is predictable there
and Ma Aung counters with a straight right hand.
Ma Aung closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Marinov crashing to the mat! Marinov uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Marinov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ma Aungs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Marinov is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Marinov scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ma Aung in his tracks.

Ma Aung lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ma Aung might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Marinov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ma Aung. That did some damage!
Marinov lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ma Aung shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Marinov eats them both and turns towards Ma Aung to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Marinov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ma Aung's hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Having scored a knockdown, Kyal Ma Aung should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
