The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cotton tries to keep at a distance but Milne has taken the fight into the clinch.

Cotton pulls guard.
Milne looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Milne postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Milne is stalling in the full guard.
Milne working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cotton's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Milne sitting in guard, not really doing much.
It looks like Milne might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Milne in particular looking to stall.
Milne frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
