The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slovakia wants to clinch up but Cebu keeps it at a distance.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cebu has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Cebu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Slovakia with a body shot.
Slovakia throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Alexander Slovakia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cebu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Slovakia really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Cebu counters with a head kick that drops Slovakia to the mat! Slovakia scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Mantak Cebu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cebu feints and then cracks Slovakia 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slovakia down.
Oh Slovakia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cebu takes a swing at Slovakia 's ribcage but misses.
Slovakia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cebu as he jumps to the side.
Cebu circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cebu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Slovakia doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cebu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cebu fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Slovakia out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Mantak Cebu!
Mantak Cebu spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
In defeat, Alexander Slovakia stepped up to the mic, saying 'men I just injured my shoulder and dat really affected my performance, I would like to get a rematch, although Da Silva he deserve to be a champ.'.
