The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powell takes the fight into the clinch.
Hika's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Powell blocks an uppercut.
Hika lands a body punch in the clinch.
A short right from Powell on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Powell creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Powell misses with a punch on the inside.
Powell tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hika's elbow.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Powell has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hika tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Hika definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Powell tries to throw a body punch but Hika avoids it by throwing Powell back against the cage.
Hika lands an elbow just above Powell 's eye.

Powell breaks from the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Hika misses the target.
Powell wants to counter with a clinch but Hika pushes him away.
Powell wants to clinch up but Hika keeps it at a distance.
Hika looks to land a left hand but Powell moved out of range nicely.
Powell throws a hook but Hika avoids it easily.
Hika will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Powell forces Hika back against the cage and clinches.
Powell lands a nice uppercut.
Powell fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Hika escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hika drops Powell with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Powell looks back up at him and smiles so Hika waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Hika misses with a body kick.
Powell tries to clinch but Hika moves away

and Hika counters with a crisp right hand that drops Powell! Hika lets Powell back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Powell is rocked!
Nice body punch from Hika.
Powell is still on wobbly legs! Can Hika finish him?
Hika lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Powell - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Hika!
