Mitchell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ride The Lightning kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Dassler or perhaps it was just good defense by Mitchell, which made it look bad.
Dassler fails with a takedown attempt.
Mitchell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dassler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dassler feinted with a counter takedown.
We've been hearing reports that Dassler has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Tyke Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dassler counters with a single leg into guard. Mitchell didn't expect that.

Dassler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dassler slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mitchell can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mitchell avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dassler.

Dassler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dassler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dassler is working to tighten his grip on Mitchell's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mitchell has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dassler is really squeezing tight and eventually Mitchell passes out! Dassler breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Rudi Dassler really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
