Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumble Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for James Sharp has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lee is stalling here. Sharp is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sharp has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Lee wants to control but Sharp postures up.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Sharp tries to move to mount but Lee blocks the move with his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee is trying to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sharp wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
Sharp moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Sharp has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sharp scores with a jab.
Lee takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A punch lands to the side of Lee 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Sharp sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sharp stuffs the takedown.
Lee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sharp lunges at Lee with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lee's hand.
Lee tries to clinch up but Sharp circles away and keeps his distance.
Sharp thuds a left hand into Lee's body.
Sharp scores with a jab to the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sharp as he jumps to the side.
James Sharp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rumble Lee.
Sharp fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lee is out of range.
Sharp lands a nice shot to the body.
Lee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sharp wants to clinch.

Lee shoots in and drives through. Sharp sprawls well.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sharp pinned against the cage. Sharp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sharp lands with an overhand left.
Lee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lee thows a leg kick but Sharp checks it
and Sharp counters with a nice body shot.
Sharp moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lee takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lee looks winded!
Lee stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sharp.
Sharp does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sharp's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lee under the eye.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A shot to the liver by Sharp. Beautiful body shot.
We've been told by Sharp's head coaches at The Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Sharp, which made it look bad.
Sharp scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sharp, right into the meat.
Sharp pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lee back to the cage. Sharp follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Sharp looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well.
Lee looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lee darts in looking for a takedown but Sharp gets double underhooks and turns Lee into the cage.
As Lee looks to move away, Sharp throws a big counter combo but Lee just gets out of the way.
Sharp scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Sharp lands a right hook to the body.
Sharp getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Nice uppercut lands for Sharp. That snapped Lee's head back.

Sharp is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sharp defends it nicely.
Sharp swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
James Sharp is winning the standup battle so far.

Sharp clinches.
Sharp goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sharp.
A right hook to the body lands for Sharp.
Nice body punch from Sharp.

Sharp manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sharp manages to break the clinch.

Sharp stalks Lee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lee's face. Lee staggers backwards, shaken.
Sharp lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sharp keeps the fight on the outside.

Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sharp to the mat! Sharp manages to get full guard.

Lee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sharp manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lee has Sharp in his guard.

Sharp content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee looking for a triangle here. Sharp is fighting it but it looks tight! Lee pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sharp is tapping out - this one is all over!
