Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas McCain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McCain's choice of entrance music: My Heros Have Always Been Cowboys . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maurice Jenkins!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas McCain!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCain takes a swing at Jenkins's ribcage but misses.
McCain goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jenkins takes one on the button.
McCain cracks Jenkins with a right hand to the side of the head.
McCain thuds his right hand into Jenkins's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jenkins walks forward, straight into a front kick from McCain.
McCain lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McCain throws a head kick that Jenkins semi-blocks.
McCain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jenkins moves away.
Jenkins tries for a takedown but McCain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice body punch from McCain.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jenkins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McCain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jenkins backing away here, and McCain unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Jenkins shoots in looking for a takedown. McCain tries to sprawl out of it but Jenkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McCain was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jenkins shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maurice Jenkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jenkins sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
McCain connects with a leg kick. Jenkins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jenkins scores with a jab to the head.
Jenkins tries to clinch but fails miserably
and McCain counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jenkins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jenkins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
McCain lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McCain scores with a hook to the body. Jenkins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McCain uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jenkins has time to react.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from McCain. Jenkins shrugs it off though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from McCain finds it's way through Jenkins's defenses.
Jenkins is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCain jabs at Jenkins's body.
Oh Jenkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McCain connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Jenkins out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lucas McCain!
