Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sweeney McIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jos Beton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntyre throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Beton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McIntyre as he jumps to the side.
Beton has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McIntyre is landing a low percentage of strikes.

It looked like McIntyre wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Beton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McIntyre is trying to control Beton's posture but Beton avoids it.

McIntyre lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Some bone on bone action there as Beton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Beton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McIntyre's waist but McIntyre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beton off to one side.

Beton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McIntyre is fending him off so far but Beton persists. Nope, McIntyre circles away and we're back to standing.
McIntyre throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
