The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lothbrok shoots in looking for a takedown. Lewis tries to sprawl out of it but Lothbrok keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lewis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lothbrok misses with a takedown attempt - Lewis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lewis misses with a lunging right hand
and Lothbrok makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Lothbrok slips a straight right by Lewis.
Lothbrok appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Lewis stuffs the takedown.

Lothbrok shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lewis's guard.

Lothbrok decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lewis, up you get!
Lothbrok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lothbrok shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lewis sprawls well. Lewis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lothbrok gets slowly back to his feet.
Bjorn Lothbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lothbrok drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lewis swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lothbrok's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
