Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Gift Of Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Avala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avala has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerry Avala!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jericho throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Jerry Avala has been cut.
Avala looks winded!
Jericho is looking to slow Avala down with leg kicks.
Jericho chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Avala on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jericho. Jericho obviously looking to wear him down.
Avala has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Jericho throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Avala.
Jericho thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Avala if he has to take too many more of those.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jericho.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jericho buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Avala throws the kick towards the body but Jericho avoids it.
Jericho jabs at Avala's body.
Avala chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jericho can pounce on him.
Jericho punishes Avala's body with a nice straight punch.
Jericho lands a head kick. Avala smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jericho pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Avala takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Avala on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Jericho throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Avala is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jericho feints and then cracks Avala's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Avala down.
Avala is still on wobbly legs! Can Jericho finish him?
Jericho pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Avala tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jericho lands a front kick.
Avala seems to have recovered his senses.
Jericho scores with a spinning back kick!
Jericho throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
That kick from Jericho tenderised Avala's leg. Avala is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jericho connects with a leg kick. Avala looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jericho lands with a slapping head kick.
Avala on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Avala has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jericho finds it's way round the side to connect with Avala's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Avala takes one to the chin there.
A head kick by Jericho - that's a beauty! Avala is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Jericho can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). The Gift Of Jericho!
The Gift Of Jericho looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'You know what happens when you lose a QFC, don'tcha? You know what's gonna happen? You know what happens?!... YOU JUST MADE THE LIST! '.
