Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jere Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Conley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jere Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Conley!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Henry enables Conley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Henry manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Henry really is a fat lump.

Conley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Henry defends it well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Conley shoots in and bounces Henry off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Henry crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Conley - the referee stops the clock and Henry gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Conley. Henry manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Conley is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Henry has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Henry!

I would just about give that final round to John Conley.
