The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allaire tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Jorgensen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

It looks like Philippe Allaire has been cut.
Allaire's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

You get the feeling that Allaire really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Allaire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jorgensen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That has opened up Philippe Allaire's cut even more.
Jorgensen loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Allaire scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Jorgensen land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Jorgensen stands and salutes the crowd.
