The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Tom Gentry has been cut.
Daal punishes Gentry's body with a nice straight punch.
Daal wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Daal scores with a jab to the body.
No joy there for Daal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gentry throwing a counter right hand but Daal manages to avoid it.
Gentry avoids the body shot from Daal.
Daal looks to land a combination but Gentry avoids it well.
Gentry is looking to counter the offense by Daal and move into the clinch.
Daal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Gentry has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Daal is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Gentry has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Daal uses from the top position.

Daal dances in with a quick combination. Gentry is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Daal snaps Gentry's head back. Gentry stumbles backwards against the cage. Daal steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Gentry's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans.
