Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Mccormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zlatan Ibrahimovic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibrahimovic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mccormick paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mccormick could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ibrahimovic closes the distance and pushes Mccormick back into the cage.
Ibrahimovic misses with a short punch on the inside.
Mccormick is trying to pull guard but Ibrahimovic has him pressed against the cage.
Mccormick fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Mccormick pulls guard successfully.

Ibrahimovic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mccormick looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ibrahimovic is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ibrahimovic is looking to stand up but Mccormick won't let him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mccormick is on top in guard.

Mccormick prevents Ibrahimovic from getting back to his feet.
Mccormick postures up in Ibrahimovic's guard and throws a big left but Ibrahimovic blocks it.
Mccormick postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ibrahimovic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mccormick has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mccormick keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ibrahimovic's head.
Ibrahimovic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Ibrahimovic is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Mccormick gets to his feet - Ibrahimovic follows without any prompting.
Ibrahimovic tries to clinch up but Mccormick circles away and keeps his distance.

Ibrahimovic lands a big head kick that sends Mccormick tumbling to the mat! Ibrahimovic takes a step backwards and waves Mccormick back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mccormick is rocked!

It looks like Jerome Mccormick has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ibrahimovic has Mccormick up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Mccormick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ibrahimovic dips a shoulder and cracks Mccormick with a mighty uppercut! Mccormick falls back against the cage and Ibrahimovic unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mccormick is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ibrahimovic screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
