Mitchell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ride The Lightning. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mitchell wants it to stay on the feet.
Mitchell lands a two punch combo.
Aleksanyan tries to close the distance and clinch but Mitchell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mitchell misses with a few strikes there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Aleksanyan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
As Aleksanyan tries to get set, Mitchell tries to push him back and clinch up but Aleksanyan manages to avoid the attempt.

Aleksanyan shoots in looking for a takedown. Mitchell tries to sprawl out of it but Aleksanyan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mitchell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooh!!! Mitchell has knocked Aleksanyan down with a huge combo! Mitchell steps away and waves a wobbly Aleksanyan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mitchell lands with a right that hurts Aleksanyan. Aleksanyan looks to clinch but Mitchell throws a short knee that drops Aleksanyan. This one is all over!
