Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ultron Star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Macgrager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Star shoots in looking for a takedown but Macgrager manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Star's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Macgrager shoots in looking for a takedown. Star tries to sprawl out of it but Macgrager keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Star manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Star is looking to clinch.
Macgrager let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Macgrager rushes Star and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Star is fighting off a takedown attempt but Macgrager is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Star to the mat. Star regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Macgrager passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Macgrager happy to just control the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Star wants to control but Macgrager postures up.

Star tries to buck Macgrager off but Macgrager is having none of it.
Star is trying to escape the position but Macgrager is controlling the position.
Macgrager connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Star some visible discomfort.
Macgrager is trying to move to mount but Star reverses beautifully and ends up in Macgrager's guard.
Macgrager seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Macgrager is continuing to stall.
Star has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Star postures up in Macgrager's guard and throws a big left but Macgrager blocks it.

Macgrager manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Macgrager gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Star regains guard.

Macgrager is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Macgrager decides to stand back up. Macgrager steps back and let's Star get back to his feet.
Macgrager thows a body kick. Star tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Macgrager shoots in for a double leg but Star sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Macgrager closes the distance and clinches.

Ultron Star has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor Macgrager.

Macgrager is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Star frees his head nicely. Oh but Macgrager has switched to an armbar! Star is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
