The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monteiro tries to bum rush Spears with a series of wild strikes but Spears uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Spears gets tackled into the cage by Monteiro . Monteiro maintains the clinch.
Monteiro gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Spears.

Spears scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Monteiro to see if he's OK.

Spears has an Americana. Monteiro didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Spears is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Spears hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
