The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Emerson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Barrs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Emerson scores with a jab to the head.
James Barr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A big left from Emerson misses.
Emerson avoids the body shot from Barr.
Emerson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Barr swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Emerson scores with a jab to the jaw.
Emerson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Emerson loads up on a big right hand but Barr slips the punch.
Barr scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Emerson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barr is holding his hands too far apart here. Emerson throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Barr is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
