Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Geraldo Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Geraldo Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Noah Six!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Armstrong gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Armstrong has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Six has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Six will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Armstrong up against the cage.

Armstrong manages to break the clinch.

Six closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Armstrong did well to prevent Six getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Armstrong wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Six seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Six is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Armstrong defends it well.
Six drops an elbow to the side of Armstrong's head.

Six seems to be looking for submissions.

Six lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Six trying to mount his opponent but Armstrong defends it.
Six thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Armstrong's head.
Armstrong is trying to maintain the position but Six is very close to passing his half guard.
Six is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
It looks like Six might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Six is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Armstrong manages to get to full guard.

Six is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Armstrong is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Armstrong has escaped and now he's on top!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Six can do anything to dispel that myth.
Six wants to hit a switch here but Armstrong passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Six there!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Six tries to lock up and control but Armstrong gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Geraldo Armstrong will probably get the nod.
That's time! Armstrong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Armstrong wanted to stand there but Six had control of the position.
Six is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Six in particular looking to stall.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Six wants to lay and pray for a moment but Armstrong keeps working.

Armstrong kicks Six off and gets back to his feet.
Armstrong wants to clinch up but Six keeps it at a distance.

Six gets a clinch.
Armstrong misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Armstrong managing to block the knees to the body from Six.

Armstrong looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Six has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Armstrong is working away from the top position though.
Six is looking for a sweep. Armstrong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Noah Six showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Armstrong trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Six manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Armstrong has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Six off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Let's hope that Six has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Six darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Six uses his free foot to push down on Armstrong's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Armstrong.

Noah Six comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Six has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
