Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kresimir Zivkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kresimir Zivkovic!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zivkovic lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Taylor sprawling to the canvas. Zivkovic follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Taylor hang on?
It looks like James Taylor has been cut.
Zivkovic takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Taylor is looking for a sweep. Zivkovic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Taylor trying to control from the bottom.
Zivkovic has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Physical Gym($50). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Zivkovic in particular looking to stall.
Zivkovic's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Taylor looks to land a combination but Zivkovic avoids it well.

Zivkovic connects with a single shot there.
Zivkovic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Taylor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Taylor throws a one two combo.
Taylor throws a right and a left that Zivkovic avoids nicely.
Zivkovic is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Zivkovic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Taylor.
James Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Taylor.
Taylor throws a nice looking combination but Zivkovic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Taylor pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Zivkovic back to the cage. Taylor follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zivkovic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Taylor circles away quickly and effectively.
Taylor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zivkovic.
Zivkovic changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Taylor loses concentration momentarily and Zivkovic pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Taylor crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Zivkovic finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kresimir Zivkovic!
