Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranky Scorpion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Leduc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scorpion comes into the arena with ¡MAYDAY! - Last One Standing blaring out of the sound system. Joe Leduc is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scorpion misses the shot to the body.
Leduc rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Scorpion has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Scorpion fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Leduc drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Leduc shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Leduc was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Scorpion is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Leduc.

Scorpion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Leduc's guard.

Leduc seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Scorpion here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Scorpion ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leduc moves away.
Some bone on bone action there as Scorpion checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Scorpion fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Leduc looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
