Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Banner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Gagnon!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Gagnon has knocked Banner down with a huge combo! Gagnon steps away and waves a wobbly Banner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Tony Banner has been cut.
Banner misses with a shot to the body

and Gagnon counters with a nice right hand that sends Banner toppling to the canvas! Banner scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gagnon finish him?!


Banner is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Banner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gagnon doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Oh Banner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Banner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Banner seems to have got his legs back now.


It looks like Jean Gagnon has been cut.
Banner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gagnon circles away quickly and effectively.
Gagnon connects with a leg kick. Banner looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tony Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banner throws a right hand that misses
enabling Gagnon to counter with a crisp jab.
Banner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Banner throws a left and a right that both miss

and Gagnon counters with a crisp right hand that drops Banner! Gagnon lets Banner back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Banner misses with a double jab.
Gagnon looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Banner scores with the left hand. Gagnon knows he should have avoided that one.
Banner throws a head kick that misses
and Gagnon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Banner fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Gagnon to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Gagnon looks to clinch but Banner throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Gagnon taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
