Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elbert Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Medina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Medina has chosen Mexican National Anthem - as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Medina clinches.
Medina lands with a light punch inside.

It looks like Elbert Cohen has been cut.

Medina breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Medina moves into the clinch successfully.
Cohen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Medina has Cohen pressed against the cage.
Medina throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cohens head.
Cohen wants to break free but Medina has control.
Cohen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Medina lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Cohen has had enough of the clinch but Medina keeps him there for the moment.
Cohen tries to break free but Medina pushes him back against the cage.

Cohen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Medina drops Cohen onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Cohen is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Cohen is trying to force a seperation but Medina has the dominant position.

Medina's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Medina rushes Cohen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Medina.
Medina dips a shoulder and cracks Cohen with a mighty uppercut! Cohen falls back against the cage and Medina unloads with a barrage of strikes! Cohen is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Medina screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

In his post fight interview, Jorge Medina started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
