The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doofenshmirtz lands a head kick!
It looks like Jabari Jelani has been cut.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Doofenshmirtz - that will leave a mark!
Nice sprawl there from Doofenshmirtz as Jelani shoots in.
Doofenshmirtz thumps Jelani with a low kick.
Doofenshmirtz works Jelani's body with a nice hook.
Jelani looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jelani shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Doofenshmirtz defends it nicely.
Doofenshmirtz swings for the body but Jelani moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jelani.
Jelani misses the shot to the body.
Jelani falls off balance throwing a combination
and Doofenshmirtz counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jelani manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Doofenshmirtz on his heels. He'll look to pass Doofenshmirtz's guard now, I'm sure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Doofenshmirtz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Doofenshmirtz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jelani manages to get himself to full guard.

Doofenshmirtz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jelani is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Doofenshmirtz, into his guard.
Doofenshmirtz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jelani defends it easily.
Doofenshmirtz pushes a forearm under Jelani's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jelani is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Heinz Doofenshmirtz!
Heinz Doofenshmirtz seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
