Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Brunatny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rufus Warner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruno Brunatny!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunatny tries to clinch up
and Warner counters with a three punch combo that has Brunatny backing up. Brunatny nods at Warner to acknowledge the strikes.

Warner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Brunatny wants to improve his position but Warner is controlling well.
Brunatny wants to control but Warner is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brunatny tries to get to full guard but Warner has control of the leg.

Brunatny holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Warner looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

and Warner counters with a shoot takedown. Brunatny fights it but they end up in guard.
Brunatny is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Warner stands up over Brunatny, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Brunatny is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Warner is controlling him.

Brunatny is trying to control the position but Warner postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brunatny throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Warner swings around for an armbar but Brunatny sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Warner's guard.

Warner has his hands on Brunatny's head, controlling the position.
Warner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brunatny missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Brunatny postures up and lands a big shot to Warner's brow.
Brunatny trying to control the position from guard on top but Warner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brunatny keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Warner's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Brunatny drops back looking for a leg! Warner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Warner manages to kick Brunatny off! Brunatny jumps back into Warner's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Warner pulls Brunatny in close to prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rufus Warner dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Brunatny is looking to get back to is feet but Warner passes into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brunatny lands a nice short elbow.

Brunatny wants to pass to mount but Warner is defending the position.

Warner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Brunatny fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Warner to the ground. Brunatny is now in Warner's guard.

Brunatny loads up on a big left hand. Warner felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Brunatny looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Warner can't hide his disappointment, as Brunatny celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruno Brunatny!
A relieved looking Bruno Brunatny thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
