Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leonidas Spiliopoulos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Waves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spiliopoulos comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton. The crowd seem to be enjoying Waves's choice of entrance music: ScHoolboy Q - Groovy Tony. Trent Waves will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Trent Waves!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waves throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spiliopoulos tries to counter with a takedown but Waves is quick to defend against it.
Spiliopoulos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Waves.
A cross from Waves lands.
Waves lands a nice shot that snaps Spiliopoulos's head back.
Spiliopoulos shoots in for a double leg but Waves sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Waves scores with a hook to the body. Spiliopoulos takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice body punch from Waves.
Donk. Waves catches Spiliopoulos right on the button with a cross.
Waves thuds a left hand into Spiliopoulos's body.
Spiliopoulos closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Waves cracks Spiliopoulos with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Waves lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Spiliopoulos backs up against the cage.
Spiliopoulos has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Waves moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Waves scores with a shot to the body.
Waves connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Spiliopoulos is rocked!
Spiliopoulos walks into a left hand.
Oh Spiliopoulos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Waves cracks Spiliopoulos with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Spiliopoulos tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Waves pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Spiliopoulos is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trent Waves!
Trent Waves made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Last time i was in this cage i left a peasant, now i leave as a prince, but now i want my Title shot so i can rip out the belly of the beast and take my rightful place as King of the 155lb Division!!! Johnny set it up ASAP!!!'.
