The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishimura ducks under a wild hook from Matienzo.
Matienzo looks to land a right hand but Ishimura moved out of range.
Matienzo throws an overhand right that lands on Ishimura's shoulder, as Ishimura tries to avoid the shot.
Matienzo misses the shot to the body.

It looked like Ishimura wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Matienzo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ishimura lands with a hook. Matienzo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ishimura bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Matienzo's head.

Ishimura cracks Matienzo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ishimura has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Matienzo to stand back up!
Matienzo is still on wobbly legs! Can Ishimura finish him?
Ishimura lands a brutal uppercut that launches Matienzo off his feet! Matienzo tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
