Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antione Acosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ace Stevens has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ace Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Acosta moves into the clinch successfully.
Stevens has had enough of the clinch but Acosta keeps him there for the moment.
Acosta is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Acosta breaks from the clinch.
Acosta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stevens throws a low kick but Acosta moves out of range easily.
Acosta tries to counter by clinching up but Stevens breaks away and moves out of range.
Stevens shoots in for a takedown but Acosta shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stevens wants to clinch up but Acosta keeps it at a distance.
Acosta wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Stevens shoots for a double leg takedown but Acosta sprawls well. He's pushed Stevens's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Stevens drops down looking for an ankle pick but Acosta pulls his leg out and moves away.

As Stevens tries to get set, Acosta tries to push him back and clinch up but Stevens manages to avoid the attempt.

Stevens has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Acosta.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Acosta, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
